What Should I Bring to My Boudoir Shoot?

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all! It’s completely normal to feel unsure about posing, but don’t worry, I’ll guide you through every step, ensuring that you look and feel your best in front of the camera.

I also have a selection of photographic images for you to look through that will help as guidance and ideas.

Will my photos be kept private?

Absolutely! Your privacy is very important to us. We will only share your photos with your permission. If you’d like to keep them completely private, that’s no problem at all.

All the pictures on my website only appear because the person has agreed.

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

Yes, we do! We offer professional hair and makeup services to help you feel pampered and confident. Our team will work with you to create the perfect look for your photoshoot.

If you want to have your har done before you come, that’s fine too, I understand my people have a favourite hairdresser.

I’m not a model - Can I still look good in the photos?

Of course! Boudoir photography is for everyone, no matter your experience or body type. My job is to highlight your natural beauty and ensure you feel amazing during the session.

Can I bring a friend or partner with me for support?

You’re welcome to bring someone along if that makes you feel more comfortable. Having a friend there can help ease any nerves and make the experience even more fun.

Experience has shown more ladies prefer to bring a girlfriend.

Rest assured the studio is a safe environment and for your safety, CCTV covers all the shooting areas, obviously not the changing areas.

How long does the photoshoot take?

The entire experience typically takes around 2-3 hours, which includes hair and makeup. We want to give you plenty of time to relax, enjoy, and capture all the stunning shots.

What if I don’t like my photos?

It’s my goal to ensure you’re thrilled with your images, and I will work with you to achieve that. We’ll review your photos together, and I’ll help you select the ones that truly reflect your beauty. If you’re not happy, we’ll discuss options to make sure you leave satisfied.

How do I prepare for the photoshoot?

To prepare, I recommend wearing loose clothing before the session to avoid marks on your skin, moisturizing well, and coming with clean, dry hair. Don’t stress, we’ll go over all the details ahead of time to make sure you feel completely prepared and relaxed for your shoot!

What s a pre-shoot consultation?

It’s a chance for you to ask me any questions you want to.

We can do this in person at my studio where you can have a look at other similar photoshoots.

We can also do this over the telephone, in this busy world you may not have time for a visit.

If you are too busy for a visit or a phone call or you want to keep this a secret (maybe it’s for a present) then we can exchange emails as many times as you wish.
